We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer (M/F) to join our design team.

Key Words: Process engineering, design and operation of facilities, molten salts (500°C-700°C), facility safety, teamwork
Main responsibilities:
Process Development and Optimization:
- Design, develop, and optimize processes related to molten salt operations and gaseous effluent treatment in a nuclear environment (primary and secondary reactor loops, prototype and experimental loops, etc.)
- Analyze system performance and propose improvements
- Conduct safety analyses
Systems and Interfaces management:
- Contribute to the integration of gaseous and liquid effluent treatment systems within experimental facilities and the future prototype
- Collaborate with general engineering and safety teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Support the qualification of equipment and processes for industrial implementation
Industrialization and Implementation:
- Define technical requirements and specifications for process industrialization
- Ensure the transition from experimental phase to industrial-scale deployment
- Manage interactions with suppliers and industrial partners for equipment manufacturing and installation
- Participate in the delivery of engineering plans and technical documentation
Additional Responsibilities:
- Conduct scientific and technical monitoring
- Prepare reports, patents, and technical notes
- Collaborate with team members on reactor and critical experiment design
- Engage with Stellaria’s collaborators, including the reactor design team in Grenoble and the molten salt chemistry team at IJCLab in Orsay
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience in water treatment, molten salt handling, and/or gaseous effluent processing in a nuclear or industrial environment
- Expertise in designing and managing complex process systems, ideally in the nuclear, petrochemical, or Oil & Gas industries
- Knowledge of primary and secondary loops and their industrialization
- Proficiency in safety regulations and standards (preferably nuclear)
- Experience in managing technical projects and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
