Last Thursday, part of our team was invited to the Isère Prefecture to officially receive its Isère laureate prize for France 2030. A recognition that highlights both the potential of our project and, above all, our commitment to a decarbonized and sovereign energy future.
France 2030: a strategic plan to transform the economy and the environment
France 2030 is an ambitious €54 billion national investment plan launched by the French government in 2021. It pursues several objectives, including:
- accelerating the transformation of industry
- supporting the energy transition
- funding breakthrough technologies
To date, €39 billion have already been deployed, including €5 billion in Isère alone — a figure that places our department in second position among the territories most supported by this program. Moreover, nearly 400 innovative projects have been backed in the department, and we are proud to be among them.
Isère Laureate and local commitment
Our decision to set up in Grenoble came naturally: Isère is already recognized as a forward-looking territory for industrial and energy innovation. A true open-air laboratory for future technologies, this department concentrates several major assets for a project like ours:
- a well-earned reputation as the French Silicon Valleyin a region that excels in combining technological innovation and local employment;
- an industrial ecosystem committed to decarbonization and the energy transition, with well-established companies and initiatives;
- an exceptional pool of talent from research laboratories, engineering schools, industries, and deeptech start-ups.

A big thank you to the Prefect, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, and the entire Grenoble Alpes ecosystem for accompanying, encouraging, and supporting project leaders with ambitious visions like Stellaria.
