Carried by a small group of committed people, the start-up we know today was just beginning its journey to design <strong>a next-generation, innovative nuclear reactor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since then, we\u2019ve reached several crucial milestones in the company\u2019s development, while staying true to the same mission: to support <strong>the energy transition and the European energy mix with safer, more sustainable<\/strong> nuclear power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>More than sustainable, we\u2019re now committed to promoting a form of innovative nuclear energy that can truly be called renewable: the Stellarium will finally make it possible to close the fuel cycle.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our technological commitment: molten salt reactors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In just two years, we\u2019ve established ourselves as a key player in the European molten salt reactor market. Although this sector is still emerging in our regions, it is nonetheless strategic for achieving carbon neutrality. In this context, the Stellarium positions itself as a game changer, delivering on the long-awaited <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stellaria.fr\/en\/ressources-2\/\">promise of closing the nuclear fuel cycle<\/a> .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Today, we\u2019re actively developing our prototype through <strong>ambitious research partnerships<\/strong> with organizations such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cea.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CEA<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnrs.fr\/fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNRS<\/a>, <strong>high-quality industrial collaborations<\/strong> (including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ten.com\/fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Technip Energies<\/a>), and strong institutional support. These joint efforts give us access to vital resources and expertise for our growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A sustained growth momentum<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Since June 2023, we have:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>lev\u00e9 des fonds aupr\u00e8s d\u2019acteurs reconnus de l\u2019investissement deeptech et climat&nbsp;pour <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lejournaldesentreprises.com\/breve\/stellaria-leve-17-million-deuros-2080307\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">raised \u20ac1.75 million<\/a> from leading deeptech and climate investors (with a second round imminent \u2014 expected to be 10 times bigger!)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>finalized three <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stellaria.fr\/en\/aps-alvin-megalvin-stellarium\/\">preliminary designs:<\/a>&nbsp;for our fission experiment, Alvin, our prototype, MegAlvin, and the first production unit of our reactor, the Stellarium<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>presented the Stellarium at international exhibitions such as WNE, <strong>Viva Technology<\/strong>, and Tech&amp;Fest<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>joined acceleration programs and earned recognition in several competitions dedicated to the energy transition (for example, we were named among the <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/05\/29\/top-30-startups-announced-for-vivatech-2025-innovation-of-the-year-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">year\u2019s top 30 innovations<\/a> by Vivatech in partnership with leading startup media <strong>TechCrunch<\/strong>) ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>invested in cutting-edge technologies to simulate Stellarium\u2019s operating scenarios under extreme conditions and ensure its resilience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>built a strong ecosystem of academic and industrial partners to test molten salts and design both our first demonstrator and our fission experiment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-slideshow aligncenter\" data-effect=\"slide\"><div class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our ambition: paving the way for low-carbon, accessible, renewable nuclear energy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To bring renewable nuclear energy to life as soon as possible, several milestones still lie ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next step is to launch our first experimental campaigns in the lab, accelerating R&amp;D around the Stellarium, the prototype, and our critical experiment. In the short term, this will prove that <strong>innovative nuclear is no utopia \u2014 but rather an agile, indispensable tool to help decarbonize industries and secure our energy supply.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, we\u2019ll continue expanding across Europe and beyond, signing new strategic collaborations with international experts. In addition to strengthening our team, this is a crucial lever for tackling global energy challenges while enabling our regions to regain sovereignty.
